Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's hopes of being 'guests of honor' at the premiere of the Bob Marley: One Love biopic appear to have been dashed.
In a surprising public appearance in Jamaica on January 23 amid a royal health concern, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex made headlines. However, an awkward situation arose when a video from the event went viral, showing Prince Harry and Meghan Markle being asked to move several rows back from the prime seating area usually reserved for special guests.
PR expert Lynn Carratt, analyzing the peculiar incident, commented to The Mirror, "I did find the video of them being shown to their seats at the premiere rather amusing.
She noted, "They appeared somewhat displeased when directed to sit in row eight, alongside some less distinguished attendees."
Meghan likely anticipated they would be seated as guests of honor in a prime location.
Regarding Meghan's choice of attire, Carratt remarked, "I also imagine she was quite uncomfortable sitting through the entire film in that Carolina Herrera dress."
