Austin Butler discusses his response to the Dune 2 movie's "no eyebrow" look.

Austin Butler recently shared insights into his distinctive appearance on the set of Dune: Part Two.

During his appearance on the latest episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live! last Thursday, Butler addressed a query regarding his lack of eyebrows in the upcoming film.

The 32-year-old actor expressed, "It was incredibly freeing to be without eyebrows." He further elaborated, noting, "You don't realize how much they weigh you down. I felt more streamlined."

Kimmel inquired whether Butler's brow-less look was authentic or achieved through some cinematic technique. Butler disclosed, "I had another job lined up with director Jeff Nichols. He said, 'They can create a bald cap, but we can't do the opposite. Can you just get a bald cap?'" This decision, as explained by the actor, influenced his choice.

Highlighting the expertise of the hair and makeup team, Butler added, "We had an incredible team, and they meticulously sculpted the bald cap."

When discussing the duration of wearing the bald cap for Dune 2, the Elvis actor revealed, "It took about three hours a day, and they managed to bring it down to five hours."
