Marvel has officially confirmed the long-rumored casting of Fantastic Four stars in a recent announcement. The news came through Marvel Studios' official social media accounts with a Valentine’s Day post featuring Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Joseph Quinn, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach donning superhero costumes.

The Instagram post showcased the quartet relaxing in a lounge room adorned with blue sofas and a Happy Valentine’s Day banner hanging overhead. Additionally, an apparent Easter Egg was included, hinting at the possible timeline for the film. In the photo, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, set to portray Ben Grimm/The Thing, could be seen engrossed in an issue of Life Magazine from December 1963.

The highly anticipated film is scheduled for release on July 25, 2025, with Pedro Pascal taking on the role of Reed Richards/Mr. Fantastic, Vanessa Kirby as Sue Storm/Invisible Woman, Joseph Quinn as Johnny Storm/Human Torch, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach as Ben Grimm/The Thing.

Fantastic Four was initially announced by Marvel chief Kevin Feige during San Diego Comic-Con in July 2022. Originally slated for release later this year, the project underwent changes and delays.

To helm the film, Marvel enlisted WandaVision director Matt Shakman, while writers Jeff Kaplan and Ian Springer penned the initial screenplay, later revised by Josh Friedman.
