Omid Scobie responds to Meghan Markle's and Prince Harry's new website

Omid Scobie, reputed as a spokesperson for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, has finally addressed the latest controversy surrounding the couple.

For those unfamiliar, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex recently launched their new platform, Sussex.com, paying homage to their royal title.

Following this move by the couple based in California, royal experts and commentators began criticizing Harry and Meghan for continuing to utilize their royal connections despite stepping back from royal duties in 2020.

Amid this ongoing drama, Omid took to platform X, formerly known as Twitter, to respond to the critiques and push back against the unnecessary negativity directed at the couple.

He wrote, "The fact that a rather straightforward homepage has prompted numerous complaining opinion pieces and indignant reactions from commentators shows that many individuals here seem to have nothing better to occupy their time."

"Move forward! Experience life. Seek out compelling narratives. This entire situation is incredibly monotonous," Omid added.

Previously, the Daily Mail had reported that a source close to Harry and Meghan had responded to the criticism regarding the name of their website.

An insider shared, "Prince Harry and Meghan are indeed the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. That is an indisputable fact. It is their surname and family name."
