Shannen Doherty's assistance to Sarah Michelle Gellar during the epidemic

Actress Sarah Michelle Gellar, known for her role in Buffy the Vampire Slayer, recently expressed her deep appreciation for her longtime friend Shannen Doherty's support during the COVID pandemic.

During a conversation on the latest episode of Shannen Doherty's podcast, Let's Be Clear, Sarah fondly remembered, "You provided such an enriching experience for my children during COVID. I was struggling to create a sense of normalcy and adventure for them."

Sarah, 46, went on to express her gratitude, saying, "Your generosity in opening your home to us during COVID is something I will always cherish. You gave my kids the opportunity to explore and experience true freedom."

With two children shared with her husband Freddie Prinze Jr., Sarah emphasized, "You facilitated adventures and allowed them to simply be kids."

She continued, acknowledging Shannen's assistance with remote schooling, "It's remarkable how you were there for us, even assisting the kids with Zoom classes during the blackout periods. You went above and beyond to make that time special."

Reflecting on the challenging period of homeschooling, Sarah admitted, "While it was undoubtedly stressful, there were moments of tranquility that I miss. Spending quality time with my kids in that slower-paced environment was truly precious."

Despite the difficulties, Sarah expressed gratitude for the unique experiences shared during that time, while also affirming her preference for a return to a more conventional lifestyle.
