Kate Middleton, who has been recovering from abdominal surgery since January, reportedly initiated a phone call to Meghan Markle in an effort to "clear the air" following the release of Omid Scobie's controversial book.

The book, authored by Scobie, reignited tensions within the royal family by shedding light on the feud between the Houses of Sussex and Wales. 

Notably, it revived discussions surrounding the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey, during which they raised concerns about remarks made regarding their children's skin color.

According to an insider speaking to In Touch Weekly, shortly after the allegations surfaced in Scobie's book, Kate Middleton took the initiative to reach out to Meghan Markle to ease tensions. 

The source revealed that King Charles III urged Kate to act as a peacemaker, especially after Prince William's reluctance to engage in reconciliation efforts.

The news of Kate's outreach to Meghan comes amidst speculation about Harry and Meghan's intentions to reconcile with the royal family amidst ongoing health concerns. 

Rumors suggest that Prince William and King Charles may not be aligned in their approach to making peace with Harry and Meghan, given the previous discord and the explosive claims made by the Sussexes against senior royals.

As tensions continue to simmer within the royal family, Kate Middleton's efforts to extend an olive branch to Meghan Markle demonstrate a commitment to fostering unity and addressing longstanding grievances.
