The emotional response of Carole Middleton, the mother of Princess Kate, to her daughter's courageous decision to reveal her cancer diagnosis has come to light.

According to royal expert Jennie Bond, Carole Middleton is "desperately upset" and will require reassurance after witnessing her daughter's heartfelt video announcement amidst social media backlash.

Bond, the former royal correspondent for the BBC, urged people to extend their sympathies to Carole Middleton, who has had to witness her beloved daughter facing harsh criticism and conspiracy theories online.

"We should also spare a thought for another mother in this, Carole Middleton. Catherine maybe 42, but she is still Carole's little girl, and to watch her go through this and withstand the bullying pressure to explain must have been desperately upsetting," Bond stated to The Mirror.

Carole Middleton has been a strong source of support for the family behind the scenes, maintaining a close bond with her daughter, Kate. Living just a short distance away from Adelaide Cottage, where Kate resides with Prince William and their three children, Carole and her husband Michael have been actively involved in providing assistance.

Reportedly, the grandparents have stepped in to help Prince William with school-run duties while Kate has been recuperating from surgery.

Bond emphasized, "She has no doubt been a tower of strength and a comforting presence for the children, but she, too, will need reassurance," highlighting the need for support and understanding during this challenging time for the Middleton family.
