Lindsay Lohan, the multifaceted actress, is setting her sights on a new project: starring in an upcoming biopic about the legendary Swedish singer, Ann-Margret Olsson. 

While the film is still in the early stages of development, 37-year-old Lindsay Lohan has expressed her eagerness to tackle the role of the iconic actor known for her roles in classic films like "Pocketful of Miracles" and "Newsies."

In a recent interview with Bustle, Lohan discussed her interest in portraying Ann-Margret, stating, “I really want to play Ann-Margret, and we’re trying to find a writer for that story.” 

She emphasized her admiration for Ann-Margret, describing her as a "triple threat" and an "amazing woman," expressing her desire to do justice to her story on the big screen.

This isn't the first time Lohan has shown interest in biopic roles. 

Back in 2011, rumors were circulating about her potentially portraying Stevie Nicks in a film about the Fleetwood Mac singer. However, the project never materialized, and the rumors turned out to be unfounded.

Now, with a slew of new projects on the horizon, Lohan is poised to make a comeback and reclaim her status as Hollywood royalty. 

As she embarks on this new chapter in her career, fans eagerly await further updates on the Ann-Margret biopic and Lohan's future endeavors.
