Adele, the renowned English singer-songwriter, has decided to give her vocal cords a well-deserved break following her recent performance at The Colosseum at Caesar’s Palace during her Las Vegas Residency.

During the show, the 35-year-old artist expressed concerns about her voice to the audience.

As reported by the Daily Mail, Adele disclosed, "In the middle of last night – I’m sure you can hear it in my talking voice and my singing voice a little bit. Your girl was tired. I didn’t sleep very well," attributing her vocal strain to feeling under the weather.

Describing her condition humorously, Adele joked about sounding like "Ursala from the ocean" and explained, "I can’t hit my headnotes properly. I didn’t sleep very well and my chest is on fire… I can tell I’m going to have a coffee in like 10 days, but I’m still here."

To recuperate, the Grammy-winning artist announced her plans for vocal rest immediately after the show.

She humorously remarked about the challenge of staying silent for three days, especially with her talkative son, Angelo, and partner, Rich Paul, around. "So I am going to have to lock myself in a cupboard or something like that," she quipped.

With 20 more Vegas shows left before her gigs in Munich, Germany, Adele is prioritizing her vocal health. Fans can catch her for four exclusive shows in Munich on August 2 and 3.
