Kate Quigley, Darius Rucker's ex-girlfriend, finds joy in his drug arrest: "Karma"

Kate Quigley is openly celebrating the downfall of her ex-boyfriend, Darius Tucker, in the wake of his highly publicized arrest.

After news of Tucker's arrest made headlines, Quigley didn't hold back on X (formerly Twitter), expressing her satisfaction at her "d-bag ex" being taken into custody. In a nonchalant social media post on Thursday evening, she stated, "Yes, I've heard. All I can say is Karma," accompanied by a heart emoji.

In a subsequent tweet, now deleted but featuring a selfie of her in a blue bikini with her tongue out, Quigley showcased her joy over the news. She wrote, "Mood when u [sic] hear your d-bag ex got arrested," along with the hashtag "Karma."

The frontman of Hootie & the Blowfish, aged 57, was arrested in Williamson County, Tennessee, on Thursday. TMZ reported that he faced three misdemeanor charges, including the possession and exchange of a controlled substance, and violating the city's vehicle registration law due to driving with an expired registration tag. Tucker was released on a $10,500 bond.

Tucker and the 42-year-old comedian had a brief romance in 2020 following his 20-year marriage with Beth Leonard. Despite going Instagram official, the couple called it quits shortly afterward.

In 2021, Quigley experienced an accidental drug overdose. While she recovered, some of her friends did not survive. When Tucker publicly addressed Quigley's recovery and offered condolences for the victims, she fired back, "Hi Darius, could you please refrain from making public comments about my health or well-being since you haven't called once to see how I'm doing and have no clue?"
