Hollywood actor Luke Wilson recently shared his admiration for Kevin Costner while discussing their collaboration on Costner's upcoming two-part American Western, "Horizon: An American Saga," set to premiere later this year.

In an interview with PEOPLE, Wilson expressed his excitement about working with Costner, describing the experience as "unbelievable." Costner, known for his roles in iconic films like "The Untouchables" and "Revenge," serves as the star, producer, and director of the ambitious Western project.

Wilson, 52, emphasized the significance of working alongside Costner, stating, "For me to get to work with Kevin Costner, I've just never had that kind of experience." He praised Costner's legendary status and the impact his films had on him personally, recalling fond memories of watching Costner's movies like "Fandango" and "The Untouchables."

Reflecting on Costner's influence, Wilson admitted to being a longtime fan and highlighted Costner's dedication and work ethic. "He really inspired me," Wilson said. "I've always had a good work ethic, but then to see how hard he worked and how dedicated he is at age 68, it was really inspiring."

Costner's upcoming project, "Horizon: An American Saga," will explore 15 years of pre-and post-Civil War expansion and settlement of the American West. The film is set to be released in two parts, with the first chapter premiering on June 28 and the second chapter following on August 16.
