In a surprising turn of events, Justin Timberlake stepped into the shoes of Jimmy Kimmel as the guest host for the latest episode of "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" on Monday night.

The multi-talented singer-songwriter took center stage with a humorous monologue and treated the audience to a debut performance of a new song from his highly anticipated sixth studio album.

Addressing the audience with his trademark charm, Timberlake kicked off the show with a playful introduction, saying, "Hello, everyone. Welcome to Jimmy Kimmel Live! I’m going to be your host tonight, Justin Timberlake." He then quipped, "Now you all might know me from being… Justin Timberlake."

The pop star wasted no time diving into the latest happenings, including Sunday's Academy Awards, which coincidentally were hosted by Jimmy Kimmel himself. "Did you guys watch the Oscars last night? I haven’t seen that many stars since Joey Fatone elbowed me in the face!" Timberlake joked, setting the tone for the evening's entertainment.

Acknowledging Kimmel's absence, Timberlake humorously remarked, "The show, of course, was hosted by my friend and your friend, Jimmy Kimmel, didn’t he do a great job? Unfortunately, Jimmy couldn’t be here tonight, as you can imagine, he’s pretty beat." To which, Kimmel chimed in from the sidelines, reminding Timberlake that he was the show’s "musical guest", not the "guest host".

In addition to his hosting duties, Timberlake seized the opportunity to showcase his musical talents by launching his new song, "No Angels", from his upcoming album, "Everything I Thought It Was".

The album, which boasts an impressive 18 tracks, also includes previously released singles like "Selfish" and "Drown".

As anticipation builds for his new album, fans eagerly await the release of "Everything I Thought It Was" and the chance to experience Timberlake's latest musical offerings.'
