Landon Barker, the 20-year-old son of musician Travis Barker, recently took to social media to share his experience with "very minor" Tourette Syndrome. In a candid post, Landon discussed his nervous system disorder with his followers.
In a brief video shared online, Landon addressed his audience, stating, "Hi guys! I figured I’d speak on this eventually. But yeah, I actually do have very, very minor Tourette’s." Tourette Syndrome, as described by the Mayo Clinic, is a condition characterized by repetitive movements or involuntary sounds (tics) that are difficult to control.
Landon revealed that he has been living with Tourette Syndrome since his early childhood, dating back to his preschool years.
Recounting his experiences, he shared a memory of a teacher accusing him of rolling his eyes, attributing it to one of his tics involving eye movements. "Yeah, it really just acts up in nervous situations and nerve-racking environments for me," he explained.
Despite the challenges posed by his condition, Landon decided to share his story with his followers. He stated, "But I thought I’d just share because why not?" His openness and willingness to discuss his experiences shed light on Tourette Syndrome and offer support to others facing similar challenges.
