Prince Harry, the younger son of King Charles III, has reportedly received a boost to his US visa status, with assurance from Joe Biden's lawyers that his residency in the United States is secure. 

The Duke of Sussex, who moved to the US with his wife Meghan Markle in 2020, faces ongoing court scrutiny regarding his US visa following revelations in his memoir, Spare.

Despite challenges to his visa status raised by organizations like the Heritage Foundation, Biden administration lawyers have intervened, indicating that Harry need not fear deportation under the current presidency.

This assurance comes amidst a court battle questioning the Department of Homeland Security's decision to grant Harry a US visa, particularly in light of his admission to taking illegal drugs.

The intervention of Biden administration lawyers follows remarks from America's ambassador to the UK, Jane Hartley, who stated that deportation of Prince Harry is unlikely under the Biden administration.

These comments, described as "extraordinary" by the Heritage Foundation, suggest a commitment from the current administration to uphold Harry's residency status, even in extreme circumstances.

In response to criticism regarding Hartley's remarks, the Department for Homeland Security defended her statement, emphasizing that it does not imply government impropriety. 

However, former US president Donald Trump has hinted at the possibility of deporting Prince Harry if re-elected to office.

The assurance provided by Biden's lawyers offers a sense of security to Prince Harry amidst ongoing legal battles regarding his US residency. As the court case unfolds, Harry's residency in the United States appears to remain unaffected, bolstered by the support of the Biden administration.
