Despite her own success in the beauty industry, Gomez revealed her personal struggles with makeup. "I don’t know how to do makeup and I have a makeup line," she admitted. This admission underscores her commitment to creating products that prioritize authenticity and inclusivity.

With Rare Beauty, Gomez aimed to redefine beauty norms and promote self-expression. "I wanted it to feel good when they're using my products," she explained. The brand's product names, inspired by uplifting themes, reflect this mission to foster joy and empowerment.
