Amanda Holden, co-judge on Britain's Got Talent, has lifted the lid on her fellow judge Simon Cowell's secret to maintaining a youthful appearance on the show. 

In a candid conversation with Sofia Vergara on Heart Breakfast, Holden shared an intriguing revelation about Cowell's ever-changing look.

Holden confessed, "I sit closer to Simon because he has special lighting." She humorously added, "I look 10 years younger. If you think it's because I'm fond of Simon, I'm not, it's because he's got better lighting."

Speaking fondly of Cowell, Holden expressed admiration for his brilliance and revealed some playful antics they engage in during downtime on set. "Simon is brilliant." 

"When you're sitting next to him, I play games. We play doodle games, we play hangman," she said. Holden also mentioned their efforts to keep Cowell entertained during breaks between performances.

Interestingly, Vergara chimed in to defend Cowell, revealing that he used to have "special lighting" while filming America's Got Talent. 

However, she joked about her own dynamic with Cowell on the set, emphasizing their lack of time for playful activities. "No, we usually fight... him and I... We have no time for playing, I have no idea what show you're doing. There's no playing around," Vergara explained.

The conversation also touched upon Cowell's sense of humor regarding his changing appearance. 

Last year, Cowell humorously addressed rumors about cosmetic procedures after presenters Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly teased him on Britain's Got Talent. Despite the jests, Cowell maintained, "I haven't had a facelift or anything." 

He admitted to minor procedures like Botox but brushed off any drastic alterations, finding humor in the speculation surrounding his appearance.
