Dolly Parton Reveals Secret Role as Producer in 'Buffy, the Vampire Slayer'

#NewsReport

In a surprising revelation, country music legend singer Dolly Parton has confirmed her behind-the-scenes involvement in the iconic TV series, known as 'Buffy, the Vampire Slayer'.

Speaking exclusively to Business Insider, Parton disclosed her hidden role as a producer on the show.

Despite living in Nashville while Buffy was being filmed in Los Angeles, Parton expressed her active participation in the production process. "I was very involved in Buffy," she revealed. "I would often visit the set and engage in conversations with the business people there."

Parton's contributions extended beyond mere presence, as she expressed her support and pride for the cast and crew. "I wanted them to know that I was there for them, I was proud of them, and they were doing a great job," she shared.

While acknowledging her involvement, Parton humbly deferred credit to the show's other key players. "That show was pretty much run by other people," she admitted. "I have to give more people credit on Buffy the Vampire Slayer than me. A lot of people did so much work on that."

Nonetheless, Parton expressed her excitement and admiration for the show's success. "I was very excited about the show. That little show did great," she remarked.

Last year, Buffy star Sarah Michelle Gellar shared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon that while she never met Parton in person, the singer sent gifts to the set. "We'd get Christmas gifts in the beginning that would have our name, and I would think, 'She doesn't know who I am,'" Gellar recalled. "Then one day somebody asked her about it, and she complimented the show and my performance, and I was like, 'Oh, I can die now.'"
