Rebel Wilson recently shared insights into her experience using Ozempic, not for weight loss but for weight management, during an appearance on The Diary Of A CEO podcast with Steven Bartlett.

The Pitch Perfect star opened up about her "year of health" in 2020, during which she shed 36 kilos. Reflecting on her journey, Wilson expressed a wish that she had known about Ozempic at the time, stating, "I wish I had known about it in 2020. If I had known about it, I would have tried it, one hundred percent."

Australian actress Rebel Wilson disclosed that she briefly experimented with the weight loss drug after the birth of her daughter via surrogate in November 2022, primarily as a means to maintain her weight loss.

She explained, "(It was) more for when I had lost like, 35 kilos, I was like, I can't continue working out and having this level of focus. And I was very worried that the weight would come back on."

However, the senior-year actress clarified that she is no longer using the semaglutide injectable. Despite gaining back 10 kilos, Wilson emphasized that her decision to try the drug was motivated by a desire for weight management rather than solely for weight loss.

She elaborated, "And so I tried it for a few months for weight management, I guess you could call it."

Wilson highlighted the drug's impact on her appetite, noting, "I had an unlimited ability to eat sweets and chocolates and ice cream and stuff and that drug helped for me to feel full whereas, I would not feel like that before. I could eat a tonne."

Expressing her satisfaction with the drug's effectiveness, Wilson admitted, "I actually liked it. I think for people like me those drugs can be really effective, but obviously, I'm not on it right now. But maybe if I was prescribed by a doctor I would go back on it."

Wilson's candid discussion sheds light on her journey towards maintaining a healthy lifestyle post-weight loss, emphasizing the nuanced approach she takes toward managing her weight and well-being.
