Tom Holland Shares Hilarious Family Golf Mishap on Instagram

Tom Holland, renowned for his role as Spider-Man, recently showcased a formidable battle scar obtained during a family golf game.
The 27-year-old actor took to his Instagram Stories to reveal a close-up photograph of the injury, displaying a prominent red bump on his forehead bearing the dimpled texture reminiscent of a golf ball imprint.
Maintaining his characteristic good humor, Holland quipped, “Whoever said golf isn’t a contact sport is full of s***.”
In a further display of humor, Tom's father, Dominic Holland, shared the amusing anecdote in a blog post, with Tom providing a link to it in his Instagram Stories.
Dominic confirmed the incident, clarifying that although Tom indeed took a golf ball to the head, the injury was fortunately not serious.
Describing the mishap, Dominic explained, “In fact, it was hit by a sand wedge from 80 yards albeit by a scratch golfer who should have known better and frankly been more accurate.”
He also revealed the identity of the "offending player," none other than Tom's close friend Alex Roberts.
With a touch of dramatic flair, Dominic recounted, "Whack. The ball struck Tom on the right side of his forehead. Had it been just a few cm’s to his left or right… It was a great shock and it certainly hurt, hence why Tom hit the turf as though he’d been shot."
Tom Holland's lighthearted response to the incident offers a glimpse into his playful personality, even in the face of minor mishaps on the golf course.
